Dayélicious N°002 [ Yovo Doko Choco Coco]

Recipe for 4 people

Ingredients List

300 g of wheat flour

100 g of sugar

1 pinch of salt

1 sachet of baker’s yeast (11 g or 15 g)

Grated nutmeg (optional)

300 ml warm water

1 l of oil

100 g of dark or white chocolate

50 g of soft butter

10 cl of liquid whole cream

1 packet of vanilla sugar (optional)

Icing sugar

75 g Coconut Taco Lemongrass / Nutmeg

Preparation

To prepare the dough for yovo doko.

Pour in a large bowl, sugar, salt, yeast, nutmeg, flour and lukewarm water. Mix with a spatula until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Let stand for 30 minutes at a time, until the dough rises.

 

Meanwhile, prepare your chocolate.

Break the tablet into small pieces that you put in a large bowl with the butter. Then put it all in a bain-marie in a saucepan filled with water. With a whisk, stir until smooth and shiny. Remove the mixture from the bain-marie now, add liquid cream and vanilla sugar while continuing to whisk. And to finish, put our preparation, again in a bain-marie to obtain a smooth mixture.

Then heat the oil, drop dough balls in and watch for them until they are completely golden brown. Then remove them from the oil to drain in paper towels.

Place in the GLACAGE!

For that, use chocolate to cover yovo doko with a spade. Once done, sprinkle your balls with Dayelian’s delicious Coco Tchigan . Finally, put these little sweets in the fridge to let the icing harden and freeze.
